Vitamins are substances that are found in food we so eat. Your body needs them to work for them.
* Vitamin A: this vitamin plays a really important role in the functioning of the eye sight. It's great for night vision. Vitamin A helps you see in color, from the brightest yellow to the darkest purple. In addition, it helps you grow properly and aids you quickly for a healthy skin.
* Vitamin B: they are classified into many. They are as vitamin B12, B6, B1 and so on. It is an important metabolic vitamin for the body. This states that they help make energy and set it free when the body requires it. This group of vitamins is
also involved in the making of the red blood cells. They carry oxygen to every part of the body. As every pat of the body needs oxygen the vitamin B plays a very important role.
* Vitamin C: this vitamin has to be consumed in order to be keeping your gums and muscles in good shape. This vitamin also helps you best resist injuries and heal up wound very fast. This means that even though you can't always keep away from getting sick, vitamin C makes it a little harder for your body to befall infected with an ill health.
* Vitamin D: No bones about it please!! Vitamin D is the vitamin you need for muscular bones! It's also plays an immense role for forming strong teeth. Vitamin D even lends a hand to an important mineral - it helps your body absorb the amount of calcium it wants. Therefore a vitamin like vitamin D servers the purpose of two things at the same time.
* Vitamin K: Vitamin K is a clot master! Memorize the last time you got a cut? Your blood did something particular called clotting. This is when certain cells in your blood act similar to glue and stick as one at the surface of the cut. This also helps curing and healing the cuts faster than before.
* Vitamin E: Everybody wants E. These hard-working vitamins maintain a lot of your body's tissues, similar to the ones in your eyes, skin, and liver. It protects your lungs from becoming damaged by polluted air. And it is important for the configuration of red blood cells in the body.
The minerals:
The minerals are very important requirement of the body.
* Calcium: Necessary for healthy bone structure, teeth, muscle tissues and so on. It also regulates the heart beat and the nerve function. The Plasma levels affected by thyroid, parathyroid glands.
* Chromium: it works towards Glucose metabolism. The Deficiency results in glucose intolerance. Brewer's yeast, whole grain cereals, nuts, black pepper, thyme, meat, cheese are the food products which have chromium in them.
* Copper: it supports the maintenance of healthy bones, muscles, and blood vessels. It also assists in the iron absorption. Liver, legumes, nuts, seeds, raisins, whole grains, shellfish, shrimp are the food products which are the suppliers of this mineral.
* Iron: Supports red blood cell physical condition through the formation of hemoglobin in blood and also maintaining its level. It supplies oxygen to muscles. It is the key for menstruating women in preventing iron-deficiency and the disease like anemia.
* Potassium (electrolyte): Along with sodium and chloride, known as electrolytes. It also maintains fluid balance, blood pressure, cell integrity, muscle contractions, and nerve impulse transmissions.
